Can you transfer files directly from smartphone to that external using type c cable on both ends?
Hey are you sure that this drive is a 7200RPM, because I followed your amazon link and all the answered questions are saying it is 5400RPM…I was looking to get a 4 tb. 7200rpm. but can you please answer me and tell me which tb model is the 7200RPM…thanks… I need to pick it up as soon as you answer my question…PEACE
Do you have any idea why it doesn't show up on Mac Mojave 10.14 and how to fix it?
Hey, nice video.
I have a question, this a USB-C drive that is capable of Thunderbolt 3 speeds (via usb-c) however, the usb-c to usb-c cable that comes with it is NOT thunderbolt 3 capable. Have to tried to do speed test with a thunderbolt (usb-c to usb-c) capable cable? If yes, what was the speed difference with the thunderbolt (usb-c to usb-c) compare to that one that comes with the drive.
Thanks!
I’m trying to store photoshop designs and documents in a hard drive, I have a Mac book air? Any ideas on what I should get?
$75, at the time of this comment, is a TERRIBLE price for a 1TB External HDD. Just because you "could" edit 4K video on this doesn't mean you should. Seagate, and most competitors, sells 2TB External HDD's for $10 less on Amazon, and 4TB External HDD's for $20 more. All of which are the same speed. If you are in the market for read/write speed, buy an External SSD. This video comes across as a paid-promo.
I wonder where you got the 7200 rpm disk speed. G-Technology site mentions a speed of 5400 rpm.
Is the second cable USB C to USB C? The guy on the video didn’t specify
I bought two a few months ago at the apple store. Getting rid of my time capsule soon for a mesh system… these work great
it looks so good
Good video I need one
This thing is super fast and super sleek, i am a film major at school and this is large enough to transport files i need from home to school easily, its so small and portable too, it fits like a wallet, Dont keep your cord plugged into it though as that will mess the port up over time for any hard drive.
